38% Organic Growth in the First Month for an Established Furniture Maker
Safa Mobilya is a premium furniture brand that has manufactured in Bursa, Turkey since 1982 and runs four stores. When we started on 31 July 2026, the site had been live for years, but its technical setup sent Google the wrong signals and category pages had thin content.

Source: Google Search Console (URL-prefix property), web search. We started on 31 July 2026; May–July is the baseline.
Starting point
- Every page's canonical tag pointed to the homepage, telling Google that each product and category page was a copy of it.
- Only 17% of the 500 URLs in the sitemap were valid. Missing pages returned empty pages instead of 404s (soft 404).
- Meta titles, descriptions and H1s could not be managed separately on category pages, and there was no category copy.
What we did
- 1
Fixed the canonical error in week one
On day three we made every page canonicalize to itself. The same week we split meta title, description and H1 into separate fields in the CMS.
- 2
Rebuilt crawlability
We rewrote robots.txt and the sitemap (639 URLs in 5 files), made missing pages return real 404s, set up self-canonical pagination on categories and added a dynamic 301 redirect screen to the CMS.
- 3
Strengthened 24 categories with content
All 24 categories received Turkish and English meta data, H1s and category copy, and 5 collection pages got meta data. We set up hreflang for the English pages.
- 4
Completed structured data
A full crawl confirmed Product and Breadcrumb schema on 516 of 517 product pages, FurnitureStore for the stores and BlogPosting for the blog.
Outcome
- Organic clicks rose from 984 to 1,359 in the first month (+38%).
- Click-through rates on category pages roughly doubled; the homepage went from 5.2% to 8.2%.
- Queries ranking in the top 10 grew from 524 to 700 in one month. Work continues with a focus on non-brand searches.
